Our research goals are to create high quality and productivity in manufacturing industries by effectively utilizing management resources, such as people, goods, money, and information.

Major Taught Courses

Industrial Engineering

Research Contents

Our group focuses on practical problem solving related to challenges in industrial engineering and manufacturing. In the process of solving these problems, we promote studies with a focus on human and organizational considerations, in addition to technical aspects.

Recent Research Theme

Effect of work skill level on prefrontal area activity
Analysis of assembly work by deep learning
Detection of product defects via deep learning using product images
Estimation of mold maintenance intervals

Educational Policies

Industrial engineering is a study with a focus on practical applications of concepts from the field of manufacturing. Factory visits are a key aspect of our research work. We hope that students and teachers can study together while emphasizing on solving problems in factories.
